Change your background for a meeting (**Not availbale in VDI and WVD)

Change and preview backgrounds before you go live in your meeting. Also see Change your background for a chat or Change your background during a meeting

  1. Select and join a meeting from the calendar or meeting invitation. 

  2. In Choose your video and audio options panel, turn on the video toggle, and select Shows background filter button icon Background filters under the video preview window.

  3. Select an image from the gallery, Blur, or Add new.  and then select Apply. 

  4. If you want to join the meeting, select Join now. Otherwise select Cancel.

    Teams uses only one background at a time for Meetings, Chats, and Video calls. The new background you just set is now used for all your meetings and chats.
