How to reset Password for Office365 Email and IDM system
Note : This is applicable for work from home users' group, who already have setup 2FA authentication. For those users who do not have 2FA setup, they are work onsite user, and hence IT Onsite staff required to verify your identity before they reset and provide the new password to user.
Procedure for Password Reset (for 2FA users)
Please open your browser and access to the following URL:
https://login.microsoftonline.com
Please follow the steps given:
- Please login your email username:
- Please choose “Forgot my password” if you forgot your password or your password has expired:
- Please key-in your email account and follow thru the verification process
- Please select “I forgot my password” to proceed:
- You can either use “Email my alternate email” or “Text my mobile phone” for verification
- Using alternate email
- Using my mobile phone
- Next, you can proceed to “Choose a new password” for your account
- You will receive the following message once your password has been successfully reset.
