1. (Check CPU for power) Is there power on the CPU?

   If Yes, then proceed to number 2.

   If No, then troubleshoot as No Power issue. (contact Building Management)


2. (Check Monitor for power) Do you see any display on the Monitor screen?

    If Yes, then proceed to number 3.

    If No, then troubleshoot as No Display issue.


3. Is the PC able to boot past the PC Manufacturer's logo (HP, DELL, ACER, etc)?

   If Yes, then proceed to number 4.

   If No, then troubleshoot as No POST issue.


4. Is the PC able to boot to the windows logon screen (CTRL+ALT+DEL screen)?

   If Yes, then check whether they can key in their windows  credentials and able to login to windows. Get the error message in case  they cannot login.

   If No, then get the error message during boot, and to call IT Service Desk to assist, or create a IT Incident ticket.

    A. Try Last Known Good configuration.

    B. If LKG doesn't work, try Safe Mode

    C. If Safe Mode doesn't work, then do a system repair or reformat OS
